Robert L. Coffman, JD, is senior writer, editor, and planned giving specialist at Pentera. Bob is an attorney and a nationally recognized expert in charitable giving. From his 20+ years of experience as the current vice president for advancement of Anderson University, he brings Pentera and its clients a wealth of knowledge about planned giving programs and donor relations. Bob is on the board of directors for the American Council on Gift Annuities and is a member of the National Committee on Planned Giving. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University.

Doug is a 1991 graduate of Indiana University. Since joining Pentera in 1993, Doug has been a marketing consultant to the nation's top nonprofits. He specializes in developing innovative integrated marketing communications marketing strategies, which include print, Web, and e-mail components. Doug is also an expert in Google Analytics and in benchmarking the success of planned giving marketing based on sophisticated analytics. Doug trains planned giving directors and officers at Pentera's renowned Planned Giving Training Seminars and is a recent, two-term board member of the Planned Giving Group of Indiana. He is also active throughout the planned giving community as a member of various planned giving councils and also as a member of PPP.

Chandra Towers Blatt is executive vice president and has worked for Pentera since 2009. Chandra oversees client services and new business development and creates strategic marketing plans for select clients nationally. Chandra has more than 20 years of experience working in and serving the nonprofit sector, first in planned giving at the Wildlife Conservation Society and later joining the Pentera team as a marketing consultant. While Chandra was at WCS, through creative marketing techniques, cultivation, and stewardship, she expanded the WCS donor base by 110%. Similarly, since joining Pentera, she has helped numerous clients with their marketing strategies and also ensures the delivery of a positive client experience, with client satisfaction ratings consistently exceeding 95%. Chandra graduated summa cum laude from Manhattan College with a bachelor of arts degree, and she is a recent two-term board member of the Philanthropic Planning Group of Greater New York (PPGGNY).
Cynthia E. Stark |
Cynthia Stark, director of Web services, has been an information sciences specialist for more than 25 years. As Pentera’s director of Web services, Cindy oversees Web operations, manages multiple project managers and the development team, orchestrates all phases of Web builds, and analyzes and streamlines processes to optimize resources and efficiency. She performs QA and provides final approval on all eProducts. Cindy is an expert on program development, system implementation, and data security. Prior to joining Pentera in 2010, Cindy was a technical support supervisor with ExactTarget of Indianapolis where she also served as a member of the product steering committee.

Molly Donikian oversees all aspects of human resources at Pentera. She also manages Pentera’s proofreading team and is one of our top editors. Molly graduated from The College of St. Rose in Albany, New York.
James B. Brandt |
James B. Brandt, a University of Michigan graduate, has a 35-year career in planned giving and is currently a planned giving specialist and editor at Pentera. After spending the first ten years of his career at Pentera, he went on to serve as the director of planned giving at Michigan State and then at Butler University - where he created their bequest society and revitalized their gift annuity program. He also served as regional gift planning officer with the American Red Cross. He rejoined Pentera in 2001.

Kathryn Baugh, senior graphic design manager, has worked for Pentera since 2003 and manages all aspects of the graphic design department. Kathy sets up procedures and standards for best practices within the department and participates in hiring and training new designers. A graduate of the Herron School of Art and Design, Kathy continues to bring her expertise to thousands of client projects—working within each client’s defined branding guidelines. She keeps abreast of current trends in print, Web, and e-mail and also works in our account management team to ensure client objectives in direct mail, Web sites, and eProducts are met.
