Pentera's Free Webinar January 27 Focuses on Blended Gifts

Pentera's next free Webinar on January 27 features Jeremy L. Scarbrough, J.D., associate vice president for estate and gift planning at the Rutgers University Foundation, presenting "Gift Planning: Empowering Collaboration and Donors for Blended Giving."

You can register for the 1 p.m. ET Webinar here.

"This Webinar is full of anecdotes and grounded in tax-planning principles," Scarbrough said. "It will empower anyone in attendance—even the most seasoned gift-planning officer."

The presentation presents gift planning as an accessible framework to empower the cultivation process and deliver on donors' priorities—resulting in bold gift "asks" that are only possible through blended gift plans.

Scarbrough, J.D., joined the Rutgers University Foundation in August 2019 and has built collaboration between foundation leadership and the estate- and gift-planning team to grow the program's reach and impact. He has 20 years of fundraising experience, most recently serving as regional director of planned giving at Washington University in St. Louis, where he played a vital role in the university's Leading Together campaign that raised $3.378 billion.

He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he studied business and economics. He earned his juris doctor degree from the University of Louisville's Louis D. Brandeis School of Law.
