Share Your Insight About Women in Philanthropy

You can add your voice to a bold discussion about the impact of women's increased engagement in philanthropy at the #WomenLeading Philanthropy Symposium April 2-3 in Chicago.

Pentera President & CEO Claudine A. Donikian serves on the advisory council of the symposium sponsor, the Women's Philanthropy Institute (WPI) of the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

"This national symposium is the preeminent opportunity to gather and share insights about women's leadership in philanthropy," Donikian said. "We will discuss the incredible growth in women's philanthropic leadership the past couple of decades - and what still needs to happen."

Three previous symposia sponsored by the WPI have drawn sellout crowds and have been lauded for advancing the understanding of women in philanthropy. Goals for this symposium are to encourage more research, deepen conversations, inspire development of appropriate measurement tools, and expand awareness about women's significant contributions to the philanthropic sector. Those who should consider attending include:

  • Philanthropists and donors.
  • Leaders in philanthropy, business, and government.
  • Foundation and nonprofit CEOs, board members, and staff (including planned giving officers).
  • Professional advisors who counsel philanthropists.
  • Fundraising practitioners and consultants.
  • Researchers.
Registration is limited to ensure opportunity for small group discussion and networking. Discounted registration continues through March 5. Detailed information about the symposium is available at #WomenLeading Philanthropy.
