About the Presenter:

Shari Fox is a seasoned advisor with more than 30 years of experience in the charitable sector. Before starting Fox Philanthropic Advisors, she led planned, major, and principal gift programs for major research universities and local nonprofit organizations.

As a philanthropic advisor, Shari focuses on helping individuals and families be intentional, focused, and effective with their charitable efforts. She also consults with nonprofit organizations to help them develop or enhance their major and planned giving programs. She loves teaching and is an experienced public speaker, presenting at multiple seminars and conferences at the local and national level.

Shari is a past chair of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners where she continues to serve on the Leadership Institute and is a current member of the Chicago Council on Planned Giving, Central Illinois Charitable Gift Planners, and Eastern Illinois Estate Planning Council. She holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® designation from The American College of Financial Services.
